evo 8.5 turbo question
I just picked up a used turbo and there are threaded holes drilled on the intake side.

Anyone know why the holes were drilled?

Probably for a restrictor, as the turbo may have come off a Group N rally car.

Do you think it's fine to run, the turbo has no in and out shaft play and minimal side to side

Yeah it'll be fine, if you are really worried you could always loctite some grub screws in there.
