Evo 8 oil cooler/brake duct install
Evo 8 oil cooler/brake duct install
well last weekend was open so i final decided to install my oil cooler/brake ducts. i initially thought of using rivets to attached them to the bumper. but couldn't find any black rivets (granted i only looked one place) then, i thought "what if i get in a fender bender and i get a new bumper, how do i get them back off" so i decided to use allen head machine screws, washers, bolts and blue loc-tite. when drilling the holes i used a drill bit with the closest size smaller diameter to the screw so it would have something to bite into and thread as i installed them. i'm not going to pretend i'm a master (or even good at) body work but i think it turned our pretty nice

its been a while, but if i remember right it was 3/32" hardware. that was just my personal preferance. i didnt want to see huge screw heards hanging out, so i went small.
