Transfer case help

Hey everyone, I am currently facing an issue. I went to the dealer to purchase transmission fluid and transfer case fluid. I was informed by a parts representative that the transfer case uses the same fluid as the transmission, which he stated was Mitsu OEM 75W 80. I went ahead and bought them and replaced the fluid for both trans and transfer case. Shortly after, I noticed on this forum that the fluid for the transfer case should be Diaqueen LSD (same as the rear differential). Is it dangerous to use the 75W 80 vs the LSD fluid? I have driven less than 100 mi using the mentioned 75W 80 fluid. I appreciate your input and time.

You need to fill it with diaqueen. The fact that it has oil makes it not nearly as bad, but it needs to be changed.

Drain that **** ASAP.

Otherwise your going to
Be dealing with a fun weekend lol

Also fill the t case from the drain hole with a pump and wait till it comes out of the fill hole. Put the fill hole plug back in. Pump two more times and then plug the drain plug. It will then be properly filled.
