i run it! make 380whp on stock turbo. My buddy runs it on his fp red setup making 450whp no sweat. the intercooler had no pressure drop whatsoever, and does the job fitment with my injen UICP and muse LICP is perfect

Yeah man please ditch that tiny licp thats alonst as restrictive as stock. Id recommend the Muse LICP from tiago at VRSF. Super affordable (cheapest on the market) and Easy 10whp+ over the injen and much better spool plus fitment is PERFECT.

Best shot i got when my bumper was off. Injen FMIC, muse LICP, and powdercoated injen UICP.

How do you know that an intercooler like ETS, JMF, Buschur, or AMS would not be better? Also, how do you know the pressure drop...do you have sensors on both ends of the intercooler? How do you know that his FP Red isn't struggling with this intercooler? Why is the Muse LICP a perfect fit considering it does not have a bracket that mounts to the stock location? Do you have any proof that the Muse LICP will make 10+whp more than his current one? I'm guessing you do not know the answers.

If it doesn't have a Garrett core don't waste your time

Ok, well I would ignore this advice. Vendors have stated that Garrett core quality has gone down in the recent years. That is like saying anything but FP turbos are junk

I can only recommend what I run since I have never ran back to back tests comparing intercoolers. I only have experience with the stock unit and the ETS unit.

LOOKS LIKE SOMEBODY DIDNT HAVE A DATE TO PROM.
I didnt say this intercooler is better than any others? you should learn how to read before calling me out, because i never stated mine is better rather i gave personal advice on how mine performs. I knew there was no pressure drop from simply comparing my boost drop (none) to my friends who installed an ets 3.5" that lost 2psi across and we were BOTH tuned before same tuner almost same mods. how does not having a bracket that mounts to stock location make it not fit perfectly? if it fits from the end tank of the intercooler to the jpipe than it fits? youre a joke. yeah i have proof it makes more power than my POS injen licp that kept popping off. ill even upload the graph i had when i had just injen kit (intake, uicp, licp, with turboback) to a graph where i had added the muse licp and injen fmic and 2.5" o2 housing. I KNOW THE ANSWERS.

yeah so who are you to talk all this trash with no "experience?" ive been thru the stocker and an AMS v2 (tire on freeway killed her ) and this injen, and i can tell from EXPERIENCE that the injen performs very well

and note, this graph/tune was with stock ecu boost control with the pill, before i added a 3port/retune which netted me 10whp/8wtq with a MUCH smoother powerband

I'd rather patch a good core and run it then start off with something less efficient.

I'm stating that most intercoolers cores are less efficient

I know this post is old. But, I would recommend taking a look at our products.

Picture of stock pipe vs ETS

You can see how huge the difference. The injen pipe is pretty close to stock size around the bend. The smaller section is the start of your intercooler hot side piping. No point in choking up the whole system from the get go. The injen pipe is less than 1.75" around the bend and not ideal for optimal flow. We have seen an increase of 8-12whp by just swapping to a larger diameter piping.

Thanks!

Michael

What are you talking about prom dates? I don't understand.

I'm sorry you're upset but without the proper test equipment you can only go off of what you think happened. You can cry all day but why do I care? Our opinion of proper fitting is different, so I don't know why you want to argue over it. You're the joke because you got offended on an internet forum.

I was only speaking on experience on MY personal car. Not counting all the Evos around me that I have helped with.

Trash talking? No I'm not talking trash. I'm glad you feel like you didn't waste money. You posted a worthless Virtual Dyno graph haha
