There are lots of threads on this topic... However you have not posted any mods done to your car...

In any case, yes 450 is EASILY obtainable with proper mods on a black... I have a DBB black, starting the car for the first time tomorrow with it and getting it tuned, however I have a fully built motor and all supporting mods for it.

mods are :
cosworth 272 cams
pte 880cc injectors
walbro 255
tbe with test pipe
mbc
intercooler and piping
coil on plug setup
megan exhaust manifold
perrin crank pulley
head studs..

im probably forgetting some but would a black be safe on stock internals? i heard they are good for up to 500whp

everyone's motor is different. some pop with less then 400tq, just driving to the store. Some people race them every weekend with more power than that and have no issues.

SO, depends on your definition of safe. I personally wouldn't put a black and supporting mods on a stock block I didn't have the funds and plans to rebuild when it blows.

As AreSTG stated, everyones motor is different... however, I personally would not risk it, I built my motor first THEN got the turbo. Rather be safe then sorry and do everything twice... I had similar mods as you(many changed now) but on a stock block I'd run a FP Green at most... or CBRD BBK Full / Map EF2/3

Black will out flow a 9. I have a black and put down 466whp and 450 tq on STM dyno by ~4500rpm @ 28psi. Have since blew my motor. Was on a single walbro 400. New plans are a BR 2.3 an double pumper. Looked down at my boost gauge and some how I over boosted never happend before hit like 34 psi. I let off but it was to late.Thinking my boost controller took a dump or froze. Lost cylinder 2 but still ran a 11.7 at 113mph in the quarter. I love the turbo. Spools pretty fast but you can also stay out of boost fairly easily which I find nice. If I were to switch I think I would go to a 6466. That looks like a nice turbo.
