car starts up and idles fine but when you get into boost the cars oil light dimly comes on at idle along with a knocking sound. I Just had the balance shaft(s) deleted using the AMS stubby kit.

I changed the oil and it was somewhat metallic. IS oil often metallic after a balance shaft delete?

Any way I researched this site, I am assuming it is a spun rod bearing. I have changed the oil again using mobil synthetic. Just curious if someone could confirm this using this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRQsu...ature=youtu.be

The vid was taken after the car had sat over night so the sound isn't as bad as it is after a quick drive.

The car is Bone stock (even the filter) and hasn't been beat on. 86k miles on the original motor. Also, the car has been maintained by Mitsubishi for every service.

Anyway I appreciate the help/advice.
