For those of you throwing Check engine lights....
Are you guys tripping those lights during hard accelleration runs? I just got home after a very short right tonight since taking possession of my new to me car (8200 miles), and noticed the service engine soon light on. The only thing I can think of as to why this started was because I ran it kinda hard up to 60 right before turning into my subdivision, but that's all I can come up with. I didn't get the code read b/c the snow was falling and I wasn't about to drive to an autozone, but I'm guessing it's gotta be similar to what others are pulling up. Had no problem clearing it by pulling the two fuses noted in other topics, but I am curious as to what people are doing in their cars when that light trips.
Thanks in advance guys.
Thanks in advance guys.
since i modded my car with intakes, highflow cat and catback... and everytime the weather changes, the service engine soon comes on. i have noticed how sensitive the buscher intake is in the surrounding atmosphere. i was thinking the weather changes are throwing the code.
