Just wondering... seems like the biggest exhaust system out
there is 3 inch...

 

If you mean off-the-shelf for an Evo, I think you're right. Plenty of cars out there with bigger than 3" though. For example, the Ultimate Street Car DSM in SCC has a 3-1/2" system and 3-1/2" and 4" systems are available for f-bodies off the shelf. I don't know about 4G63s, but on an f-body there is little or no gain from going bigger than 3" until you at the 500+ rwhp mark. On an Evo, it seems like it would be of marginal or no benefit unless you are running a big turbo, etc. IMO, it would be more cost and weight efficient just to install a dump after the downpipe.

 

There would be no reason to have anything over 3" unless you are running 9's or faster

 

Whats up, Apexi has an exhaust called the r-95 which is about 3.75 inches not sure on price but you can find it at boostsolutions.

there is a company called APO or AVP, can't remember which, that makes a 3.5" cat back for subies and the EVO.

 

Well, speaking of Boost Solutions.

Their car has a "horn" type of a custom exhaust for their monster. 3.something" o2 housing to a 4" downpipe to a 5" catback.

 

Mine's also has a 90mm titanium system, which if i recall correctly, equates to about 3.14". And there's also the R95. I think someone on the forum has it on their stock turbo Evo.
