Any experience with MAP's 2000cc injectors?

I was all set to buy another set of FIC 2150's but I noticed MAP has 2000cc injectors. I know they are made by BOSCH but I'm looking for some direct experience with these.

Why were you going to buy another set of 2150's? DID they fail ?

I am currently using the MAP 2000's on stock ecu and speed density.

In the midst of tuning but thus far they are working very well. No complaints.

From what I understand ID, FIC, and now MAP all use the same Bosch injectors, but they have different housings on them.

They work similar to the FIC2150s but they dont seem to be exactly the same. Hard to say since I am not tuning the car in person...too many variables.

We use FIC2150s with great success.

Smurf, I know not MAP, but I used a set of Slowboy 2000cc which uses an oem bosch injector like fic and ID, just with a different top hat and never had any issues with them... switched to FIC as that is what we recommend and sell...

I have a set of there 1000cc injectors on my car with PnP. Running E85 on them for a week now. So far so good

Not the same as the 2000cc injectors but it's something.

What sort of difference will the tops make? Balance, flow pattern, or what?

They are all the same, the tops are just a machined piece. The only difference is if one company buys more at one time they can better flow match sets. This is done by testing the injectors and putting alike ones together, because there will be some variants in flow for each one.

The advantage of the ID2000s is that they are flow matched. Other than that, they are all basically the same.
