Tial v44 over boosting problem

I have a full race twinscroll setup and I'm having over boosting problems. I'm running 91 octane and I'm tuned to run 22-23 psi. Lately it's been over boosting to about 26psi. I turned my halman mbc all the way down and it was still boosting 26 psi. I thought my boost controller was messed up so I swap it out for a new halman mbc and turned it all the way down and it was still boosting 26+psi. I then bypassed the boost controller and ran the vacum soured straight to the wAstegates and it's still boosting 26+psi.

Both wAstegates are the old tial v44"s. both have the big blue spring(13psispring). I'm assuming one or both of the wAstegates are broken. Is it common for them to break?

The car and stock engine has 120,000 miles. 60,000 miles with the current setup. One wastegate was new with the setup so that one has 60,000 miles. The other wastegate was used with my old single scroll setup so that one has close to 90,000 miles.

Here a pic of my setup cuz everyone like pictures.

You can pull the wastegates and remove the caps(top). Check to see if the diaphragm is torn, or cracked/worn. You can still get replacement parts for the v44 to bring them back to life. The tremendous heat they see will eventually wear out the internals and this could be the case for you.

60 and 90K miles?, probably time for a refresher...typically runs between $50 and $100 per gate
