Zeitronix 3.5 Bar people come in

Pretty simple question, what is the general formula to get the 3.5 bar sensor to read correctly in Evoscan. I found some formulas on here but none worked so im either entering it wrong or have the wrong formula

If your using a ZT-2 or ZT-3 with the 3.5bar, and still logging from the ZT box, then you just have to log "ZTX Boost". Its usually at the bottom of the list.

Ya did that but formula isn't right, maybe I have to re install the software because the readings from ztx boost aren't correct

Do you need scalar and offset? If so, in what measure of units?

If you have the AEM 3.5bar settings, they are the same for the Zeitronix.

When you log ZTX boost, there is NO formula. It just reads what the zeitronix brain spits out.

hmmm there was something in the eval column when i first tried so thats why i was confused. From what i read there is an x value that corresponds to a scalar 0 to 255 that is used to calculate the reading so im not sure, but ill keep playing with it, thanks for getting me started

With the formula i found im getting -8 vac and with just x i get a number just under 1000. With the formula in here "psi = 12.5x -20.95" im also getting really big numbers, so am i entering it right because the formula i found was from user RoadSpike and said to work

Once again, if you are logging from the ZT box though the serial output, the formula you need to read "ZTX Boost" correctly is just "x". Thats it

here is a pic below

But that gives me a value in units, or some kind of value, what if I want to see boost in psi?

+1 to what Jay is saying.

If you're getting a value that doesn't make sense, try using the Zeitronix software to calibrate the ZTX for whatever MAP sensor you're running.

Its is boost in PSI, it doesnt matter that the "Unit:" says "units". If you want, change the word to "psi". It wont change the data.
