Do this GSC cams affects my hp?

Hello guys, I have an Evo 8 2005 I made some mods but with all I have I only push 279hp on a dynojet with 91 octane fuel. The mods I did to my car were GSC 272/272 cams old version, Evo 9 turbo, MBC HBC, 255 walbro, o2 housing, skunk 2 full exhaust, injen intake and intercooler piping, BOV turbosmart circulating, tuned at 20 psi, Now I never tune my car with the stock cams, after I install the gsc cams I did the first tune so i dont know anything the difference betwenn stock one or gsc cams to see if I gain or loss power, My question Do you guys think with stock cam I can make more HP? or Does the gcs 272/272 affects my power because of the Evo 9 turbo is small? Or Are this gsc cams good for what i have on my Car DD? thanks for the help

Do you have the GSC S1s? with the evo 9 turbo and gscs You should see a difference in the low rpms usually(3000-8000) I have the gsc S2s there good for the higher end but i also have an fp black. I still feel you should be a little higher then that even at 20lbs of boost. I'd bump your boost up a bit you'd see a huge difference and the stock evo 9 turbo is good for 25 psi. Have you brought it to a shop? wish i could help you out

You are on 91 oct just like me, theres not alot of room to grow on 91oct. Go with E85 if you have it local and you'll make close to 400hp, Im making 352whp at 22psi on 91oct and I just added a few things and Im about to get a remote tune from Tscomp, he said he might get me to 370whp. Id say you should be up in the 300 range.

I would think with those mods you should be over 300hp. I've never seen anything that low with those mods.

I agree the numbers seem a little low, but its only on 91 at 20 psi. Maybe your tuner was conservative....stock evo only puts down around 230 whp stock at 19.5 psi, just something to think about...

So what guys you recommend me to do? Tell my tuner to increase boost over 20psi, or check for timing and boost leak to see if everything alright! thanks for the help!!

Something seems off, I made 291hp on a dynojet with intake, exhaust, mbc, and tune @20psi. Although this was on 93, but still. Maybe a very conservative tune? Check the car out for boost leaks and exhaust leaks.
