Help splitting turbo

Ive searched and cant find much.

Im in the middle of a O2 housing install and I've ran into an issue. I can't get the hot side to seperate from the center section of the turbo.
I've removed the vband and soaked the hell out of it with PB blaster, it just won't budge.

I'm half tempted to just pull the 4 lines off the turbo and pull the whole thing out..

Any tips?

Thanks

Remove the radiator to give yourself some room if you haven't and take the turbo out. It makes life much easier.

omg dont waste your time taking out the radiator and turbo for an o2 change. dont pull the lines, its a HUGE mess.

WASTE OF TIME. i changed my hotside and o2 by leaving the turbo in the car, took 30 mins to take out on my first try.

make sure you unbolted the downpipe and if its a STOCK o2 housing then theres a bolt that mounts to the block. unbolt that, that is prolly whats keeping it from separating. then take a mallet and whack it and it'll come loose.

Lightly tap it with a hammer. Rust builds up over time and you need to break the rust bond between the hot side and the center section.

That bracket is off, I beat the hell out of it with a mallet and it hasn't budged. I let it soak all night and sprayed it this morning before I left for work.. We'll see if I can get it off. If not it sounds like my only other option is to pull the turbo... Great. But I'd probably be done if I did that in the first place.
