Hey Everyone,

I just bought a 01 Evo VII today and upon getting home and taking a good look through the engine bay I came accross something that doesn't make sense to me and was wondering if someone can please help shed some light.

The only engine mods on the car is a poddy and an tial 38mm wastegate.

With this said the following is what is worrying me:









As shown by the pics there is a loose tube from the T peice which I have no idea if it should be plumbed back somewhere or loose. The tube which the T peice is connected to runs from the turbo to the wastegate. Also shown in the first pic is a nipple from the crankhouse which has nothing connected to it, should this loose tube be plumbed onto that nipple, and or what should I connect the nipple to?

From what I can see it doesn't reach unless I move the radiator hose a bit.

The nipple on the valve cover should have a line that goes back to the turbo intake.

You need to find what is being used to control boost. I'm not sure about the Evo VII, but it might look like this:

Could the line that's loose at the moment be the one that should connect to the crankcase vent then, considering the other two sections of the T peice are running to the wastegate and back down to the turbo?
