Looking for insight. Sparkles in oil

Hi all,

I had just recently finished my build (mod list etc in link below)
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/al...bby-build.html

And I had done my first oil change after 20min of first start up. then second oil change at 500 miles, at 500 miles I put in AMSoil 10w30 Z-rod High-Zinc..

Drove it roughly 500 miles and just driving at 30mph the car sounded like someone tossed coins into the head, Stopped the car right away and towed it home... changed lifters, went to start, it would only crank but not turn over... Attempted to hand crank, it will only crank about halfway over and then hits a point where it is impossible to turn... feels stuck, doesnt feel like a compression crank..

So I drained the oil and a tiny patch of sparkles came out right where the oil was directly draining into my pan... Its a small patch maybe the size of a Solo Cups circumference...

Theres only 1000 miles on my fully built motor, any ideas what might be wrong, or am I boned and have to tear it all down again

Thanks in advance.

As far as the crank turning and stopping dead at one point, Id have to ask if you checked the timing on it?? It could have slipped or maybe been set wrong when you did lifters?

Talked to the builder/shop, its a tiny amount, its not metal, 99.9% sure its the graphite used in assembly..
