ok so i have some mods in my evo 8 but i have stock upper and lower intercooler piping...and i was wondering if i upgrade the factory pipes for aftermarket i would gain any hp at all...

my mods are
3 Greddy Tri C Catback exhaust
QTP Electric Cutout down pipe
AEM Intake
Crower 280 Cams
Ported EVO 9 Turbo
JUN Tubular Exhaust header
ACT lightweight flywheel
ARP head studs
ams injector
fuel pump

lower intercooler pipe will gain hp and spool up

 

^^^^ as stated above lower on this set up will yield 15-20hp as well as faster spool up. The upper will really only get you better throttle response

Some people will say there are gains to be had with the short intercooler route I personally find some truth in that but it wont be a lot.

if your on a budget id suggest muse intercooler piping its 278 I think for both upper and lower short route. Cant beat it for the money and havent heard one bad thing.
