I need some help on this oil leak issue im having on my evo 8. i see verry slowly drips of oil on the oil cooler line" only the line thats right on top of the crank pulley. i also see oil right under the crank plastic cover on the outside. i will post pictures soon. my question is what could be the couse other than front main seal? i was told i might have a balance shaft eliminator kit since my car has some vibations at idle and at speeds.

 

70 views no answer ? lol anybody have an idea of what can cause oil leaks on that side ?

 

seal behind oil pump pulley possibly but it could be crank seal or as you mentioned the blanking plug ive also seen them leak through the hyd tensioner bolts threads a little bit of sealer on the threads will cure it.
