problems with my evo

problems with my evo

I yust put on my evo avcr and safc 2,cai,manifold,complete jic exhaust,hks blow off,ralliart intercooler pipes,and a few more things.the problem appear when I stop on accelerate my car and my rev go down and sometimes my car engine stops.
please any one that have the same problems on know the way to fix it I need some help ,I`m desesperate.

Put your stock blow off valve back on.

yes its your BOV, the computer can learn to use one, it takes like a month of dealing with it

yeah its the HKS SSQV blow off. i had the same problem with mine. took it off and put it on my brothers WRX. works fine on there but nothing but problems on the evo. which ones work well on the evo, and by that i mean absolutely no stalling or RPM loss. i have heard good things about forge.

i beleive forge is a diverter valve....ive heard good things about tials on the evo...we have one on the talon and it works super....dosnt leak even at 30 psi

Put the stock BOV back on. You don't nec need an aftermarket one until you are pushing the boost up above 21-22. If you like the sound, don't worry about it. You can hear the stock bov very well when it is coupled with an intake.

Next time, try doing one mod at a time. Test it out and make sure everything is fine. Then move onto the next mod. It will be a lot easier to diagnose what the problem is.

i think the Greddy type s would be the best bet in our cars.... just take out the little spring, and adjust spring accordingly, and everything would be all righteous....
