Hotside pipe question

Hi guys,

I have an evo 7, I tried to get an aftermarket hotside pipe installed and apparently it wouldn't fit because it was pressing against my air conditioner pump or something like that. Two pipes were attempted to be fitted (2nd hand parts at a place I went to) and both didnt fit for the same reason.

But apparently both parts were off an ct9a so they should have fit anyway.

Any ideas whats wrong? Was the pipe probably off an evo 9 or something?

I really want to upgrade my hotside pipe but I'm very cautious buying any in fear of having the same problem again...

Could you post a pic please of said hotside pipe? I think that in the U.S. we refer to this as the downpipe. Yes, or no?

Bro save your self the hassle and buy one from a good vender from the states or Japan if you can afford it. I have a HDi GT2 Pro Spec kit and it's a waste of money(lesson learnt). You might get away with it just being the piping but I'd spend a little more and get a quality kit.

thanks guys. I guess I'll skip on the ebay parts on this one.

I guess I'm just trying to find some parts that wont break the bank.

Not looking for a new intercooler just the compressor outlet pipe.

Good luck with this platform. If you live in Melbourne you can take my other HDi kit off my hands, it's only gathering dust.
