Evo 8 - 10.5 Hotside on an Evo 9 turbo?

Are the 10.5 hotsides interchangeable between the two turbos?

I have something to add to this question...do i need to run the Evo IX WGA with my Evo VIII 10.5 hotside or can i keep my Evo VIII WGA?

Indeed, compressor housings are not.

Thanx for asking this question. And thanx for the answer (MAPerformance). My evo 9 turbo has a cracked divider wall and all the 10.5 hotsides i find for sell (new or used) are for evos 4-8. I was scared of buying one of these and it not fitting with my compressor housing.

Yes, there are two 10.5cm turbine housing variants. One has a single puck wastegate flapper valve and the other one has a dual puck wastegate flapper valve. Both 10.5 variants are interchangeable between the IX and VIII turbos.

The turbine housing doesn't matter with respect to which actuator you need. Actually, the compressor housing dictates which actuator you need to use. A IX actuator is required with a IX comp housing whereas an VIII actuator mates up with an VIII comp housing.
