Hi Guys

after i bought the catback system from AMS and found out that it doesn't fit on the OEM Cat (connection and length) i guess i need to buy the high flow cat and the downpipe as well.
So my question is, does the ams downpipe fits without any mods on the OEM O2 housing??
Is it normal that the AMS catback is to short to fit on the OEM cat??

I'm living in Austria so i can't get any local AMS support.

Yes it fits the stock o2 housing and no it does not fit the stock cat. The AMS exhaust is a 3 bolt flange and the stock cat is 2 bolt. The AMS test pipe/high flow cat is 25ish inches long vs. the stock cat being like 18 inches.

I don't think the AMS is all that loud. I run it with a resonated test pipe and can easily have a conversation inside of the car with a passenger. Full throttle the car is pretty loud like all other 3" exhausts.

 

I have the same exhaust with the HFC and my friends say they can hear me a mile away haha. It's not too bad inside the cabin cruising around town (30-40 mph) but it gets noisy on the highway. It does sound good though
