Blew fuse on positive battery cable, now what?

I recently got my evo 8 back from a mechanic shop and I noticed the 100amp fuse on the positive cable was blown. Now my inside lights, radio, and electronic locks do not work. I am not sure if anything else was affected.

What can I do without replacing the entire battery cable? Is it easy to replace the battery cable? Is there a simple aftermarket solution I can do in the mean time?

Can I use this product, http://www.lancershop.com/customer/p...productid=2975 ?

Can I drive the car like this in the mean time? Help guys, thanks

Sounds like your mechanic placed a wrench between the positive and negative battery terminals. I'm kidding. On a serious note, why don't you take the car back to your mechanic and hold him liable? That's part of paying someone to have a service performed on your vehicle. As for the link you provided, it looks like that's the part you'll need.

^^^ I agree. Take it back to the mechanic and tell him to start answering some questions. I don't think you should pay for a blown fuse that you didn't cause. ( My opinion)

Yea I agree but that mechanic shop was just awful. It was actually a shop my insurance sent me to but they didn't even want to fix anything, everything has been such a hassle with them that I honestly don't want to deal with them anymore. I might just try giving them one more call though. If not at least the part is not too expensive.

THanks guys
