Infamous low idle issue
You must check the voltage on the part before fastening bolts.
It has to be within specified range.
Double check this.
Im in the same boat as this guy except my cars gotten to the point where it does die out. So any time im about to come to a stop I have to hold my clutch in and rev so the car doesnt die out. Even starting the car is a hassle without excessive reving because the idle starts so low.
I've got 3 engine codes so ima start working with them. Obviously starting from the cheapest and going forward.
When the codes are pulled on all 3 it mentioned a vaccum leak could be the source of them all so i'd like know how to go about this or if its even worth my time. Should I just take it somewhere and have them fight the demons.

so i took the car to the dealer today and they did a ecu update which made it run a little better but its def still not right. they said when they disabled the maf it ran great so should i try that speed density conversion??

will i need a tune for this or do i just plug up and go?

You're doing it wrong. First off, dealer flash will get you nowhere, absolutely nowhere. You need to get the ecu tuned by a professional tuner to help cure the idle issues. Basically you need to add timing to the idle area of the timing map.
This is only the first step...as I have said multiple times, the hard pipe intake you have is probably causing a lot of your issues.
Finally, 110% no you cannot just plug in a SD kit 'and go'. Read through this how-to for a general overview but see recommendation #1 above and find a professional tuner to work with!

Good luck!
