FWD Conversion?

I'm looking to make a mid engine car from scratch and I'm planning on using an evo 4g63. Big problem with this obviously.... I need to convert the trans to fwd.

Does anyone know of any kit designed to do this or is it easily done by disconnecting the yoke, letting it free-spin and welding the center differential?

Be MUCH cheaper to get a 6 bolt 4G63 and a fwd tranny from a 1G...

I'm going to be picking up the engine from a wrecked donor car, price won't be an issue. Plus I want the strength of the awd transmission. So I suppose there is no blockoff for the transfer case made by anyone is there?

If you're building a mid-engine car, why are you going FWD?

The engine and drivetrain will be over the rear wheels. Technically rear engined.

All I want to know is if there is a kit to do this or not and if ill just have to weld the center diff and run without a driveshaft.

Ever consider the front wheels won't get any grip on acceleration?

There's a good reason you don't see any R-F cars in production

Thank you, thought it was fairly clear due to the first post but apparently not.
