If you are planning to change to a bigger turbo in the future I'd say yes change cams if not keep them. The HKS cams are good combination with the HTA green.

S2's are a great cam-

also consider-

if you do or dont have headstuds- if you are close to 60K service (or over) you may want to bundle some of those things together and do it all at one time-

just a note-

Just to clarify are the shops giving you a price on just the cam and spring install or the install as well as a reflash / tune, or the going to be taking the head off to do the install whit a new head gasket? Because the shop That did mine charged me 1200 but the took head off and checked valves cause they said that some valvs are prone To not seat over time so the check it b4 the do valves n stuff and arp head hard ware are a must so for 1200 I got new head gasket head studs and machine shop head check and prep not bad if u Sam me

The benefits are less strain on your valvetrain, my friend. If you are looking into doing springs, I would recommend beehive springs from some of the more reputable vendors on here (i.e. Manley, GSC, MAP, etc.).

But...

There is no way in the world that a cam installation will cost $1,000.
