Where to buy a replacement Evo 9 turbo?

Hi my friends, I want ask your help please.

Long story short, my turbo is dead and I want replace for a stock one (TD05HRA-16G6C-10.5T)

Where I can buy an Original OEM Turbo ?, I don't want a copy. I wish in FL or near, but if you say me in Alaska and there sell a OEM one, I will go there

If don't exist a reliable store, what turbo would recommend to my car?

I have an Evo IX, with AMS Intercooler, HKS Kansai Service intercooler piping, TBE, Turbo Outlet, Cusco Turbo Inlet, Apexi Filter.

Greetings and appreciate your help.

Here is a vendor that can get it for you.

http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...vo_9_turbo.htm

I get most of my OEM parts from them.

Quite a few companies sell the stock 9 turbo. Lancershop.com, full-race.com, or get a fp green from forced performance.

You should call Forced Performance Turbochargers, in Mckinney, Texas to purchase their FP 71 HTA turbo.

The 71 HTA is identical to your factory IX externally, but inside it has a larger compressor wheel with improved aero design. This turbo costs $1259.00 and is a direct replacement for the IX turbo. This turbo will easily produce 35 horsepower more than the original IX turbo.

Also you can look at the MAP EF1, or EF2 turbos. These may be even less expensive than the FP turbo. I think that a new MHI IX turbo would cost you more than either of the two above options.

You may want to ask on here as to whether you would need to upgrade your fuel system if you were to install either one of these two turbos though. I am pretty sure that with either of the above turbos you would have to upgrade your factory fuel pump to a higher flow WALBRO fuel pump. You would also probably need to switch to larger fuel injectors as well.

Thank you all for your answers.

As you says my friends, the OEM turbo its pretty expensive except in two parts:
- bpPerformance (http://www.bptstore.com/EVO-TD05HR-1...580_p_110.html) and
- MellonRacing (http://www.mellonracing.com/index.ph...roducts_id=797). What do you think?. (I see a couple of videos and Gary's Evo runs awesome).

Yesterday my mechanic let me know about the model of my turbo, and the real model is TD05HRA-16G6mC-10.5T.
Taking that in account, the USDM Evo IX turbo comparing with JDM Evo 9 RS Turbo are so different?

As I say previously, I don't want a 400 or 500 WHP car, I am very happy with 300 WHP and I heard that its pretty real with my supporting mods and turbo OEM. Do you guys think It is posible with the OEM USDM Evo 9 Turbo?, do you think necessary make the upgrade to FP71HTA?, If I buy the FP, do you think I need change my fuel pump?, injectors?

Sorry for too many questions. I appreciate your help.

if you're going to spend money to buy a new OEM turbo then spend that money on an FP turbo and actually get something for your money. If you don't want power then just buy a used one for $400 like most people sell them for

I can't imagine paying full pop for a stock turbo when I could get a better aftermarket turbo for around the same amount.

I'm running the BBK Full and it's pretty insane on the street. no way I could go back to stock.

Is your Evo a JDM IX RS? The turbo on these JDM Evo IX RS's was fitted with a Magnesium compressor wheel. These particular turbos are not very desirable because the Magnesium compressor wheels were plagued by a high incidence of failure at higher than stock boost levels and high shaft speeds. I wouldn't run one of those turbos myself. But, hey, everyone is different.

Why do the IX turbos sell for $2500 and not $1000 anymore?
