Hi from Serbia. Two weeks ago I bought lancer evo 7 rs2. I started to do complete service, to change all oils in car.

Problem appeared today,when we changed oil in AYC pump.
We worked this process on Evo9 many times, but in this case it wasn't the same to remove air from system as on Evo9.

As a result we got all three lightes on(tarmac,gravel,snow).

Does somebody know how to remove air from system of AYC pump?
Is it possible pump is broken? Everything worked great before oil change...

Do you have EvoScan? It's very easy using evoscan:
1. Jack up car
2. Hook up laptop to MUT-II port
3. Set ignition to point no. 2, but dont actually start the engine
4. Select the AYC ECU
5. Run "Air Bleeding" actuators on EvoScan
6. Open left bleed nipple
7. Operate "OP Check L" actuator
8. Keep bleed nipple open until air gone/oil squirts out
9. Stop "OP Check L" actuator by clicking the actuator button again
10. Close bleed nipple
11. repeat with bleed nipple on other side
12. Stop the actuators by clicking the "Air Bleeding" actuator button again
13. Top up boot reservoir with AYC fluid

 

I don't have evoscan. Where i can get or buy it?
Can i do "air bleeding" on the other way?

You can buy it from evoscan.com, you'd also need an open port 1.3 or 2.0 connector. Tuners/mappers usually have those.
