evo 8 block with 9 head

I'm not really sure what you're talking about. Thats my thread from 4 years ago. My car is still running strong. The OP already has an EVO 9. He wants to put an Evo 8 block under his 9 head. The wiring and ECU are already there. Its simply a matter of one oil line. Much more cost efficient than paying outrageous price for an evo 9 block.

I even used the rotating assembly from my evo 9 in an evo 8 block with my evo 9 head.

I don't think you really understand whats going on here.

yea thanks for info guys i have a 9 and i through a rod through the block so i found a good 8 built block through dsm graveyard but i changed my mined and now im getting a brand new 9 block considering im not trying to make over 400 cause im about to have a babby

So Let me get this straight.. Items needed are;

-E9 Head
-E9 Rocker Covers
-MIVEC Intake Cam Gear
-Oil Feed Line
-ECU / Wiring (In my case I have a Haltech so no probs..)

Is there anything else I am missing?
