So my check engine light went on tonight. Do you guys have any ideas what it may be. I am running the buschur stage 4 kit with a 1G BOV which is vented back into the intake. The hose has a little kink in it but i doubt that would have any effect. other than that, the cams are 272's. the car has a cat on it as well.

do you guys have any ideas what caused the CEL to come on. also. the car is idling like ****. it's not the sound that bothers me. but the car is idling like the BOV is vent to atmosphere. it dies to 500 constantly and is also constantly stalling. do you guys have any ideas? do you think a little kink in the hose for the BOV could be causing this?

 

oh also. the CEL came on while crusing at like 55, not when i was sitting at a light.

 

Turn up the idler screw on the throttle body if it keeps dropping like that.

 

Give the shop a call and ask for Tym. He can walk you through some additional tuning for the cams in Stage 4 and the injectors.

Don't mess with the screw, the car just needs some additional fuel more than likely.

As for the CEL, pull the code and let us know what it is.
