Thumbs up Megan Racing exhaust

I know some are curious about the exhaust. I just took delivery of the Megan Racing 3" catback and 3" high flow cat. I haven't installed it yet but will soon. My initial impressions of it are VERY GOOD. It is very very well contructed with nice welds and super smooth mandrel bends and a mirror polish to the stainless. There are only two small bends in the exhaust also...very straight design. It comes with ALL gaskets and high grade bolts.
I'm really surprised by it for the price.
If it fits as well as it is made and looks it is a steal. The muffler and cat are straight through design and it is true 3"...doesn't taper down at the cat like some. ID is actually 2 15/16"...so it is more or less a true 3" ID exhaust.
I'll post pics when I get it on. If anyone wants them I can take pics of it now off the car.

Yes, please post pics of the parts off the car if you can. Then again once it's on the car.

Does the cat have a bung for the O2 sensor? I have the cat back and there is no bung for the )2 where the factory one goes on the mid pipe.

Sorry. There is another thread here with pics and sound clip:

I do have some closeup pics of the welds..I can send the pics to someone and let you post them.
Also the "cat" does have a bung for the O2 sensor. BUT, eventhough it is commonly listed as a high flow cat it is really just a resonator...basically a test pipe. It is straight through design.

Huscroft6: I installed megan racing springs few weeks ago, i like the drop, its not bouncy, (you might get some cracking noises when you turn slowly- but after an aligment it was fine no more crackin) i think for that price its worth it... good luck.

boreli: i ordered same catback $375 with shipping and this test pipe for $75 good deal eh? ;-) brand new so IT means, you wont find o2 sensor bung on catack, but there is one on hi flow cat? - so to hook it up the o2 sensor you need their hi flow cat correct? thanks.
