what intake did you guy? The only vacuum port that I know of on the intake is the on for the valve cover. When purchasing intakes, there are options to have the bpv recirc pipe or not.

It connects to the valve cover. If there aren't provisions for the vacuum line, simply put a breather filter on the valve cover.

Don't put a breather filter on your valve cover, that's just.... just don't do it. Post a link to the intake that you bought because right now we are just guessing.

If you're running an mbc, you don't need a vac line to run to the solenoid. Just loop a piece of vac hose to both fittings on the solenoid.

Thank you the solenoid end was the one I was concerned with. Is it basically obsolete with the MBC installed. but for the breather line I was sent a little filter for the valve cover. here are pics as requested!

The bottom line (1) was the one hooked to the solinoid and the other (2) was to the valve cover. This came from STM and was supposed to bolt right up. I didn't recieve a tube to connect the BOV so I was going to reuse the clamp on the old one and cut some rubber tubing up from the hardware store to make it fit.

Thank you for the input guys. I am kinda a noob i know!

Out of curiosity why do you say that? The breather nipple on the valve cover is for the crankcase ventilation.

I prefer to go things the right way. Ie, catch can. How many high Ho shop builds do you see with a breather filter? Plus, some tracks won't pass you on the inspection with a breather filter.

one of the locals here had moisture freeze in the breather filter during winter. caused some issues. Probably a pretty freak thing to happen though. But, a catch can with no vacuum source would do the same thing...
