Modification City!!!
Well, I've succumbed (finally) to the modification bug.
After fitting the pod filter last weekend, I just can't help myself!
I'm just about to order:
Blitz NUR Spec-V Cat-back exhaust and
Blitz Front Pipe
also
Apexi Power-FC (because I'm getting it at bargain basement price!)
I cannot wait!
I chose the Blitz because it seems very flexible... ie. can use the silencer and the CAT if necessary to reduce noise, but can also be very obnoxious and loud (and, I have to admit it - the idea of a flaming exhaust does appeal to the little boy in me!)
I'd love to know what you people out there with the Blitz system think of it! (seeking last minute reassurance )
As for the ECU, I can't go past this unit at the price offered... (equates to roughly 300 pounds sterling)
Obviously what will be missing from this setup is some form of boost control - I have heard that the boost controller option for the PowerFC isn't as good as, or as flexible as running the Apex'i AVC-R... any comments? (i guess seeing as I'd need to acquire the hand controller as well as the boost controller to do it all in the PowerFC, an AVC-R would be cheaper too...)
I'm sure all responses will be inconclusive and argumentative
I look forward to them anyway!
Cheers,
Doc
