White Smoke

Hi all,

Had a little issue with my car this morning. When I started her up and drove off, there was a pool of white smoke coming out the tailpipe. I got a CEL for Bank 1 o2 Sensor. I pulled her aside and shut her off to check under the hood. I observed coolant and oil coming from my oil catch can breather filter.

When I started her again, the white smoke stopped and I was able to drive to my destination. I checked my radiator coolant level and it was fine. I monitored my coolant temp and UEGO gauge with nothing out of the ordinary. Any ideas as to why I'm burning coolant? Thanks for any help!

Did you check your oil? Was there coolant mixed with it?

Oil AND coolant in a catch-can is no bueno. Cylinder leak-down test required - most likely a head gasket failure, or the beginnings of one at least.
