How did the engine blow?

Rod knock?, rod break and come thu the side of the block?

Crank walk?
Blown HG?
Blowing smoke all the time?
Timing belt break?
Melt a hole in the piston?

What clutch is installed?

How many miles on the engine?

Pics of the damage?

definatly got to hot in that cylinder. check the injector in that cylinder. sounds like the fuel injector took dump and that cylinder leaned out and got super hot!

The hole in the piston, and the busted spark plug are both from a lean condition in the cylinder.

Have the fuel injector tested.

Some NAPA parts stores have a Fuel injector test center, so call around, or send them off to one of the Fuel injector suppliers.

But from the sounds of it, you will need a new set of pistons, and have the block bored, depending on wear, and how deep the scratch in the cylinder is.

The head may have to be gone thu also, due to the melted aluminum that has spattered on the valves, and seats.
