Recently pulled my tranny to get rebuilt. Couldnt get the wave clip to separate the clutch from the TOB before i dropped the tranny and ended up taking out the 6 pressure plate bolts. Once the tranny was on the ground we still had a hard time separating the clutch from the TOB and ended up bending it to get it out.





My question is does a new TOB or clutch come with this clips?

Happend to me before, what you went thru.... if you order a new clutch kit make sure it comes with it, the exedy twin plate kit came with it for me.. not sure if any other brands do . Good luck

 

You can get a replacement wave lock retaining clip from STM. It's 30 bucks, it's made by Exedy, who also makes the wave lock retaining clip for OEM, ACT and many other clutches. Very convenient.

 

And yes it does/should come with any clutch kit
