Noob question. Is there a difference between evo 8 and evo 9 Fmic?

Noob question. Is there a difference between evo 8 and evo 9 Fmic?
So I'm returning my car back to stock and was wondering if there was a difference between the two? If so is the evo 8 Fmic okay to use or is there side effects?

As far as I know there is no difference with the two,but they both need to be upgraded . But all kidding aside they are the same.
