AMS FMIC fitment
AMS FMIC fitment
So I ordered an AMS FMIC to install on my 2008 EVO X. And I found there is no way it can fit on my car. On the AMS FMIC, there are two long horizontal bracket on the bottom of the FMIC which I find no where to bolt them on. On the stock one, there are two brackets with holes at bottom of the FMIC to bolt on to the car. Searched on the forum, there seems to be a design difference between 08-09 and 2010+. But even if I get he 2008-2009 version, will I be able to bolt them right on? Do I need to make a custom modification to fit them?
Also is ETS FMIC fitment any better?

i have a 2014 so this may or may not help. the bracket that holds in the stock FMIC, you will need to get rid of it completely. You will be screwing in the AMS FMIC to the frame using the existing place of the stock bracket
