sparkplug wires/boot

I was changing my sparkplugs today and one of my boot separated from the "thing". Is this now unusable and I have to get a new one. Or can just put it back together and reuse?

Put it back together, start the car. If it works the car will run fine if not you'll hear a misfire at idle. It will be pretty noticeable if it misses at all.

Personally depending on miles, id replace the coil boots, and new wires, if one has cracked the others arent too far behind....cracked coil boots can cause arcing in the head which can cause multiple issues starting with misfires. Thats my 0.02 , as far as new wires at the time, before going to sparktech cop, I swapped plug wires to Magnecor 8.5 mm wires...which worked well.

Nope, I don't know, but I have to learn sometime. I was following along the DIY guide. After searching/Google that I found out the boot is a separate piece from the coil pack. So, basically, I can just put boot back on the coil pack.
