Flywheel resurfacing question..

I'm in the process of putting a 5speed in my mr and I bought a cc stage 2 clutch. I have a act streetlite flywheel in it now and have a facotry one in the garage as well since I don't know how bad the act look like yet. I got my facotry one resurfaced at a machine shop and it came out great however since its been sitting in the garage for a whole there are some rust pits in it. Not a lot at all but there are a few and they are tiny, size if a pen tip maybe. My question is will this affect anything or will be it fine?

Rust pits that you describe should not affect clutch performance at all. The clutch disc really doesn't care what the surface looks like. Just make sure it is flat and there are no high spots. These can be knocked down with a mill file, stone or sanding block.

Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping the act one I have is still good or that I can still resurface it. Talked to one of your guys couple mins ago and said its fine to resurface the streetlite. Once again thanks

There is a lot of material on the Streetlite flywheel, so there should be no reason you cant resurface it.
