Clutch slave cylinders are nothing special... check local auto parts stores rather than going with a factory over priced unit. I believe I got mine from Oreilly's Auto Parts and it was like 30 bucks maybe. Its been on the car for over 10k miles with zero issues. These simple parts are just that, simple. No need to give an arm and a leg for a simple cylinder.

Hm, although I do agree with you on not needing to spend extra money where it's not needed, but I do know that the OEM ones are self adjusting. Not sure if an aftermarket company would replicate that....

Valid point. All I can say is that my new one looks exactly the same, inside and out, as the old...the stock one I took apart to see what the hell happened and noticed that because of a small hole in the rubber boot, rust was in the end of the cylinder. That caused the seal to start leaking...bought the new one, took it apart to see just what was in there (worst case I'm out 30 bucks) aaannnddd it looks the exact same. Seems to work the same too BUT mine is an Evo 8...so if for whatever reason they (slave cyl) are different, my experience/info is useless lol. Cheers
