To much positive pressure down at the crank. Very common in turboed cars
Early on what we usto do is put a spring that holds the dip stick to the bracket

While it is normal for turbo charged cars to have positive crank case pressure it could also be a sign of a larger issue. Poor sealing cylinder rings or a bad PCV system can case excessive crank case pressure, double check the PCV system and do a leak down test to find out how positive pressure is making its way into the crank case.

PCV valve is located on the firewall side of the valve cover right by the oil dipstick, it's a one way check valve that will let positive pressure out but will not let positive pressure into the crank case.

Fishd0 - here's a helpful link you may want to read thru:
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/arti...cv-system.html

Please note: I added the plastic one-way check valve mentioned in that article to my setup right before a track weekend at Mosport, and - big mistake - ended up having the same issue as you did - dipstick blew out and made an absolute mess of my engine bay. Lost 2+ hrs in the paddock wiping off half a quart of oil (amazing how big a mess a half qt can make). The rest of the info in that article seems pretty solid, though.

Take a picture for us and post it up, some reason I doubt the PVC valve was removed unless the previous owner had no clue what he was doing.
