That wouldnt suprise me. When i got it the boost solenoid wasnt hooked up

The pcv is good

 

If the PCV is indeed functioning properly I would look into having a leakdown test done on the motor, might be a sign of a larger issue.

 

I will do a leak down test tomorrow. Any other ideas as to what could cause this?

 

There's only a few reasons why you would have so much positive pressure in the crank case either the PCV valve or compression from the cylinders are leaking past the rings/headgasket/valve stem seals. With that said I had a built SR that would throw a quarter of a quart of oil all over my engine bay after a night of hard driving, compression was fine along with leakdown. Installed a vented catch can setup and was regular about emptying it.
