Proper break in procedure for Exedy twin carbon

I bought an Exedy twin carbon last night, and reading more and more into it the entire reason people burn through the clutch so quickly is due to improper clutch break in and heat up procedures.
My question is how do I heat up the clutch before driving it? I was told 3 10-15 second slips before aggressive driving, and a 1,000 mile break in period where you basically baby the car with lots of stop and go traffic to try and bed it.

Anyone have better suggestions? More info?

I installed mine... Drove it back and forth to work for a fee days... Took it to the track amd drag'd the **** out of it... Worked great.. I put 20k on my car spending every weekend on the strip.

I miss that clutch. Chatter is terrible compared to others i've driven but it has to be the most forgiving race clutch on the market. I know this wasn't much help sorry

Nope. I was really naive then so i never thought to. In warm weather it didnt seem to require any. Below 40 you'll barely make it out of your driveway. It needs to be hot. My apartment was at the bottom of a pretty steep hill that i had to take every morning. I would slip to 3k before it would engage at all.

I will say once i burnt it up i drove on it for 6 months before i replaced it. It would slip for a few seconds and then lock up like normal. Which is actually why i dont have it now. Couldnt afford to rebuild it since i blue'd the pressure plate.
