I just a aem intake and a 3inch full turbo back ......now i went 1% higher on my safc2 and im getting fuel cut at 21psi......a buddy of mine says it did it cause it may be too rich.......with these mods will i need to go richer or higher......and no i cant get her dyno tuned yet, the cash flow is a little slow....would i need a new fuel pump as well???

There are two ways to relieve fuel cut. Bigger injectors which will have a lower pulsewidth than a smaller injector for the same output and 'fooling' the ECU into thinking less air is coming into the motor. This is what all piggyback fuel controllers do - intercept the MAS signal and raise (richen) or lower (lean) the signal before sending it to the ECU. SSKILLA, your car is too rich. If you're not sure what state of tune your car is in, you really need to be cautious making adjustments.

I was under the impression that fuel cut was due to the computer detecting so much knock that it pulled too much timing. then couldn't compensate so it cuts fuel as the end all solution to the detonation problem. Thanks for the clarification

thanks for the info ....you know what your right i set it all back to 0% amd shes runs fine......i guess i have to save some cash to get her tuned.......whats the best a/f ratio to use thats safe

I had never dealt with fuel cut like this coming from an NA Honda (GSR) and a lightly modded A4 1.8T. When I heard "raising the fuel cut" I though people were raising the revlimiter

Furthermore, I thought that fuel cut meant I needed to richen it on the SAFC, but it's actually the reverse. With the cold weather here in the Northeast, settings that were fine in warmer temps can start causing fuel cut, since the air is much denser, so you have to adjust it from time to time. Actually, I think you're better off lowering the boost if you can, rather than leaning it too far to compensate.
