Certain year/edition evos and stis came with a switch and tank for the intercooler spray, but I never heard of an actual bottle that you can spray on there for more power.

Or you can dip your intercooler in dry ice and bolt it back on lol

Research meth injection. Much more efficient when done correctly.

Horsepowerfreaks offers a couple of choices, IMO I would invest into a good brand name intercooler instead of the spray

yes people spray there intercoolers with co2 but for the amount of gains its not worth it unless you are heat soaked an incredible amount.

I don't think HP gains are the point of the co2 spray. It allows you to keep a consistent temperature for the air going into the engine. The more you run the turbo the hotter the air will get which could eventually cause heat soak.Maybe something nice to have in between runs at the strip but I'd just get a bigger intercooler if I were you and call it a day. I'm sure it looks cool though if nothing else.

You mean water spray? JDM models came with this stock, mine has it. It does make a difference to intake temps, otherwise rally teams wouldn't use it. I heard from a mate who tunes after a few runs on the dyno when the cooler was getting hot it was worth about 5kw.

If there is a HP difference and such its not going to be huge or anything. Would mostly help prevent the FMIC from becoming heat soaked

^^^ LOL i watched myth busters and they found the fastest way to cool down beer, is spray it with a fire extinguisher! im sure that would work! and you wouldnt have to risk burning yourself with the dry ice!. but on a serious note, im pretty sure mitsubishi's intensions with the IC sprayer was to help with heat soak and not hp gains.

On really hot events I have sprayed down my intercooler in between autox runs and it has seemed to help a bit. Nothing really drastic but it does seem to help.
