fuel lines and fittings

I am looking to switch out my rubber hose to braided steel lines and -AN fitting. Now with a target of 650whp, what size hose/AN fittings would I be looking at? E85 mind you on FIC 1450cc injectors with FB Double Pumper. -6 or -8, return and feed? My thinking is -8 on feed and -6 on return? Maybe the better question here is there a standard or rule of thumb, given either E85 or 91/93 oct. gas, that one should follow when determining the WHP goal for the size of lines and fittings?

-8 feed and -6 return should suffice.

with that being said, is it ok, or has anyone used the Russell ProClassic or ProClassicII hose for E85? If not, is standard braided the only way to go? Whatever I put in there for hose needs to be e85 approved. Russell's website said "most" fuels regarding the ProClassic so I'd like to make sure.

Also, which fuel filters have people been using with E85 and worked well? Full Blown, Fuel Lab, Aeromotive? What should you look for in a good filter assembly?

Check out the Russell Twist-Lok hose, I recently installed it in another car that is strictly and e85 car. We used the stock return line and only upgraded the feed. I am attaching a list of the parts I used in the application.

Thanks for the info! That really helps. Not sure I like the looks of that hose though. After all, looks are half of it as well!

Anyone else use the ProClassic with E85 and no problems/compat w/ethanol based fuels?

Has anyone mounted their fuel filter in the engine bay or is that really not a good idea. I know that there is a substantial amount of heat there. I purchased a Full Blown fuel filter and there doesn't seem a logical spot by the tank. Suggestions? It does look nice...
