Like the title says, i installed a hallman pro rx mbc. Ive triple checked the lines and they are correct. Still using light spring. No boost leaks. Lines are ran as follows: side port to waste gate and end port to port on mani.

Is this stock turbo? One should be on the nipple off of the waste gate and the other is on the nipple of the turbo. I ran mine like that for 30k+ and I was at 28 psi.

Well I figured out the problem. I went to change out the springs and noticed that the ceramic ball is missing

Which port on the intake manifold did you source your MBC reference from? Was it in fact, the factory line that runs from the IM to the DV? This is a commonly used alternative to the J-pipe as boost reference port. So, you should be OK.

The 12# that you saw is probably the actuator spring pressure, right?. You may want to increase spring pressure by adjusting the actuator rod to a shorter overall length so that the turbo will spool better.

there's an adjustment nut on the threaded portion of the rod.
