Wavey clip retainer on throw out bearing

Hey guys, I lost my throwout bearing about a week ago now I'm having a comp clutch installed. I keep seeing people say use 3 wavey clips on the new install but all I can find is the exedy retaining clip for 30$ and dealer says its not a part that's sold without the pressure plate. Can anyone help me out?

I just need the wave spring from what I understand. I was hoping I don't have to get 3 30$ clips

I have 2 from the clutch install I did this weekend. And I think my friend with an evo 9 has some from his old install too. But at $30 a pop new I'm beginning to think I should keep them, as they have low mileage and I am thinking of doing a crazy clutch experiment next time around which I would need to have those retainers for.

However I could ask my friend if he still needs his for you if you want, he probably has 2 of them and I doubt he would ever use them again, not the type to do that. Are you in a rush to get these?

BTW I reused my fidanza retainers for a stock clutch this weekend, because they look like titanium or something definitely different and I only drove it 10k miles.

I just bought two more from extreme psi. He's already got the trans apart and I was in a real pickle. Sucks 90$ just for one clip and 2 washers. Hope it works

Isnt there a clip on the Comp Clutch???

Edit: If its new, the new clip is already attached to the pressure plate.

That's ridiculous, even the crappiest clutch I ever bought had the wave springs.

We have plenty of Wavelocks in stock and ready to ship.

Just give us a call and we'll get one shipped out immediately.

Yeah brand new comp clutch. Clip was on there with no spring. My mechanic got the car oil port so I was in a pinch I had to order 3 new clips. Now I got 3 extra.... Fml.
