GT30R Questions.

Just bought an '05 with a GT30R and I'm curious what kind of numbers are people seeing on pump? Replacing the eBay exhaust manifold with one from JDL, Kelford 272's coming shortly, Buschur street core with UICP & LICP, SpoolinUP COP, and some GSC beehive springs and retainers. Car has 3" TBE already.

Anyone have a guess as to what they think I'll be at after all that is installed?

Going with a 2.3 hopefully in August and I'm wondering if I should stick with the GT30R or buy a PTE 5858. Trying to keep the car daily driveable and shooting for close to a 500/450 number.

Thanks,
Anthony

According to Extremepsi the stock 3071 is rated up to 475 and 3076 up to 525. Neither of those will make 500whp on a stock block running 93. 2.3L on E85 and a good tune I'm sure you can get 500hp/450tq maxed out if it's a 76. I would send it to FP and get it worked into an HTA 3076. Garrett's are well known for being bullet proof, I wouldn't replace it.

Here's info and a graph of a GTI making more power than you want.
