I am wondering who else out there runs this clutch? Does your clutch make any usual noise? For some reason I get some chirping and faint squeal sounds while cruising especially in the mornings. I am trying to figure out if this noise is from my clutch. When I disengage the clutch the sound goes away.

I have exedy twin. Awful sounds related with these clutches are normal (unfortunately)

 

I have an Exedy Triple HD. It squeals, chatters, makes noise on de accel, makes a funny noise when I start up the car...sometimes its quite....but that’s only when the car isn’t running.

 

im putting my triple in tommorow, im fully aware it is going to be loud and sound like death. But what do you excpect you have 3 plates in there.

 

I know this guy name Poontang, he has the same issue

 

god my triple sounds so bad lol people think its ****ed up haha the squealing is what pisses me off

 

I agree with all these guys...noisy clutch but man its worth the drivability and holding capacity.

People do make comments about its noise....but its always a good comeback when I say "its a triple disc, i make too much power to use a single plate type clutch"

Triples have clutch chatter most all twin and triple have chatter

 

Most people think my car is a POS when they hear the noise my twin makes. I really don't hear it anymore
